Teddy the Bichon

Jan called Sit Happens RVA shortly after she brought home Teddy, a 3 year old Bichon and Shih Tzu mix. Teddy was having issues with potty training because he had been kept in a crate most of his life and was never properly potty trained. Teddy was very hyper inside and outside of the house. Also, as he became more comfortable with Jan, Teddy became a bit of an escape artist. He managed to get off of his leash multiple times during walks, and got out of the backyard.

 Jan decided on a 4 lesson in home training package. We properly potty and crate trained Teddy. We also taught him how to wait at the door with guests arriving and when leaving for walks and car rides. Teddy learned proper manners for walking on a leash. Now Jan and Teddy can enjoy relaxing in the backyard, going on car rides, and walks around the neighborhood. With Sit Happens RVA, Teddy is continuing to progress, and now Jan has the tools to handle whatever challenges they encounter.
