Nicole is the Owner/Head Dog Trainer at Sit Happens RVA, and she’s passionate about helping both dogs and their owners lead happier, stress-free lives. Originally from Florida, Nicole recently moved to Richmond with her husband and their two rescue dogs, Milli the Beagle and Axel, a Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pitbull mix. When she’s not working with dogs, Nicole loves spending time in the parks around Richmond, especially Forest Hill Park and Church Hill Dog Park.
Nicole’s background spans a variety of fields, from working as a front desk associate in a luxury resort to a pediatric dental assistant, and it’s this diversity in experience that allows her to connect with people from all walks of life. Her deep love for dogs and puppies led her to apprentice under Dave Stellato, founder of Sit Happens. After seeing firsthand how the methods and results changed the lives of dogs and their owners, Nicole knew she had to bring those results to the people of Richmond. Now, she’s excited to share these life-changing methods with you and your dog!
