Evie

Evie is a rescue from Richmond Animal League. She came to her new home with some fear and anxiety. Like most rescues, there wasn’t much insight on Evie’s background. However her issues became clear very quickly. Destructive behavior stemming from anxiety was on the top of the list. She also lacked the confidence to make a healthy transition into her new home.

With Sit Happens RVA’s in home training program, Evie learned basic obedience.  Her new owners learned the skills to re-introduce Evie to the world. She learned come, stay, walking on a leash, working around distractions, and is currently mastering her crate training as well as off leash recall.  She has learned to be more confident, allowing her and her family to h
